Quotes About her
“When Marcia and I look at each other, I have to work hard to keep from Laughing. She gets a gleam in her eye that’s so devious.”
Dana Delany (Entertainment Weekly, March 28, 2008)
Q: Have you ever picked up a script for “Desperate Housewives” and thought, “Oh my God, I can’t believe I have to do that?”
Shawn: [laughs] “Quite a few times actually! There have been a few scenes, like when I had to spit in Marcia Cross’s face. I was really nervous about that, I didn’t want to do it.”
Q: Did you have to actually spit in her face?
Shawn: “Oh yeah — take after take. She’s really the sweetest woman. She was really cool about it and kept telling me I was holding back, she was really awesome.”

“We didn’t test at all,” Green tells Zap2it. “I had never met her until I had booked the show. I got really lucky. I have to assume, because [creator Marc Cherry] knows Marcia as well as he does that in meeting me, he had some sense of what would work best with her.”
And Green says the two get on pretty fantastically. “We enjoy really being around each other,” he says. “We laugh and we talk. It’s a really great relationship to have on the set. It was a complete coincidence. It’s absolute luck, because it doesn’t happen all the time.”

ETonline: What is your favorite thing about playing Keith?
Brian Austin Green: Hands down, working with Marcia. She is just so good at what she does. She is so committed even after seven years of doing the show. She makes it really fun and easy.
Marcia is just attractive. She is attractive in a bunch of ways. She is beautiful. She is intelligent. She is really settled in who she is. She is easy going. She would be an easy person for someone to fall in love.
