Marcia is #3 in AIM’s “50 Hottest Redheads.”

Marcia was nominated in 2008 for a SAG Award along with her Desparate Housewives castmates for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

During a 2005 interview with the Desperate Housewives (2004) stars, Marcia was visibly delighted when Jamie Theakston pronounced her name as “Mar- see-ah”. The actress turned to her co-star, Eva Longoria, and stated that she loves the way British people pronounce her name. It was revealed that although most Americans pronounced her name as “Marsha”, her co-star Eva Longoria calls her “Mar-see-ah”.

Marcia is the last of the four main actresses in Desperate Housewives to get married for the first time in real life.

Marcia played a doctor in Melrose Place (1992), Everwood (2002) and on Seinfeld (1990), season 9 episode 7.
